But first, Coffee

If your a coffee lover welcome to heaven! The PNW and Portland have some the most coffee shops per capita in the world. The baristas make coffee designs so beautiful you feed bad drinking it so honestly the $6 a cup is worth it. Most coffee shop offer free wi-fi, comfy sitting nooks and handmade brunch treats to make you feel right at home. Here are some of my favorite coffee stops all the way from the coast to the inner city of Portland,OR!

Next Stop, The Pumpkin Patch!

Nothing is more fall festive than a trip to a family owned Pumpkin Patch. Farm areas around the PNW and PDX area are booming with corn fields and waiting for you and your loved ones to pick a pumpkin and get lost together! If your looking for a family friendly fun day this check out some of these local farms with a little extra to offer.

The Pumpkin Patch on Sauvies Island- Located about 30 minutes outside of Portland you will find the largest variety of u-pick pumpkins here, a farm fresh market, and hayrides for the little ones!

The Maize at the Pumpkin Patch- Also located on Sauvies Island the largest corn maze you will find in the area. They also offer u-pick pumpkins, a petting zoo and food on site.

Topaz Farms- Farming and education come first here and I love the passion behind this property! Catch a fall concert, grab a pumpkin and check out their wide variety of in house goods from their farm fresh market.

Most days during fall season have a chance for rain but that's nothing locals aren't used. Make sure to dress accordingly for your adventures and always bring shoes prepared for mud.
