Next Stop, The Pumpkin Patch!

Nothing is more fall festive than a trip to a family owned Pumpkin Patch. Farm areas around the PNW and PDX area are booming with corn fields and waiting for you and your loved ones to pick a pumpkin and get lost together! If your looking for a family friendly fun day this check out some of these local farms with a little extra to offer.



Visit Halloween Town- FREE entry- Located an hour outside PDX is the quaint town of St. Helens,OR. From the end of Sept to Oct 31st the city center is transformed into Disneys iconic Halloween Town. Visit during the weekends for night parades, character meet and greets & more!


Yesteryear Farms- FREE entry- family owned and operated sunflower, corn maze, pumpkin patch and Christmas Tree farm with the best local food vendors, movie nights and gift shop. Seasonal photo areas are also staged throughout the property!


The Pumpkin Patch on Sauvies Island- Located about 30 minutes outside of Portland you will find the largest variety of u-pick pumpkins here, a farm fresh market, and hayrides for the little ones! Don't miss out on their night corn maze with hidden speakeasy bars for the parents!


The Maize at the Pumpkin Patch- Also located on Sauvies Island the largest corn maze you will find in the area. They also offer u-pick pumpkins, a petting zoo and food on site.


Topaz Farms- Farming and education come first here and I love the passion behind this property! Catch a fall concert, grab a pumpkin and check out their wide variety of in house goods from their farm fresh market.

Most days during fall season have a chance for rain but that's nothing locals aren't used. Make sure to dress accordingly for your adventures and always bring shoes prepared for mud.
