The small town of St. Helens, OR rises from the dead every October and transforms their town center into the infamous Disney Channels Halloween Town! Located 45 minutes from Portland this is a perfect fall fun activity for friends & families.
This was my first time visiting the Iconic HalloweenTown and it did not disappoint! The City Hall in the Disney Channel classic is the actual town Hall in the center of St.Helens and was totally transformed from the inside out. Memorabilia from the movie like Benny's yellow Taxi Cab, THE lit orange pumpkin, & more are placed around the square and honestly the entire town goes all out with decorations. Ghosts and witches roamed the streets and seeing everyone dresses in costume was so much fun! Main Street is a one way road lined with local businesses and limited parking so keep that in mind for planning the best day and time to visit. Weekends and evenings are the most popular time to visit and hosts a Nightly Spooky parade along with meet and greets with stars from the Halloween Town Cast. The highlight of my visit was witnessing wedding vows being exchanged in front of the original pumpkin and them lighting in celebration of their love!
